Meet Our Staff
Dr. Eduardo Montes announced today that in order to maintain the personal care directive that is the core of his practice, to not only better serve and accommodate current patients but also the influx of new patients, it was necessary to bring two new staff assistants on board. They will both assist Dr. Montes in all podiatry procedures. Dr. Montes also stated that his practice continues to grow with the added procedure known as peripheral nerve surgery.
Joining him is Sophie Thomas and Loretta Durham
Sophie Thomas joined Dr. Montes’s team in December 2015, as Office Manager. Prior to joining the office, she had worked in the Dental Field for thirty seven years. Sophie is an Arizona native born in Phoenix, partially raised in California, then back to Arizona in 1983. She enjoys spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, traveling and walking the beach.
Loretta Durham has been a Medical Assistant since 2005 and has worked with Dr. Montes since 2009. Before starting in Podiatry, she worked in the fields of Internal Medicine and ENT. Loretta is a native Arizonan having been born on Ft. Huachuca. Loretta has wanted to be in the medical field since she was a child because she has always wanted to help people. Outside of the office, Loretta enjoys reading and spending time with her family which is expanding. Loretta has 2 step-sons, but is expecting her first girl in July 2018.
Andrea Aguilar has been a Medical Assistant since 2009 and has worked with Dr. Montes since 2014.
Before working in Podiatry, she worked in Dermatology field. Andrea was born and raised in Bisbee.
Andrea enjoys working in the medical field because she is able to help others. Outside of work, Andrea
Enjoys spending time with her husband and her four children. She is very family oriented and supports her children in all different extracurricular activities.
